RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the Planning Commission adopt the Director's analysis and findings and DENY the proposed rezone request to change five acres from Industrial to Light Commercial, located at 2500 Sherwood Lane.
If the Commission makes findings that rezoning to Light Commercial is in substantial conformance with the maps and policies of the comprehensive plan, staff recommends that additional properties be evaluated as well. Staff would contact the property owners and public notice, a staff analysis, and a Commission hearing would be required.
