It would amend Title 36, the Nuisances Code, to make it a violation to manufacture marijuana concentrates in a residential zone using anything other than water-based or food-based extraction methods. The ordinance is intended to prohibit personal users from manufacturing marijuana concentrate in residential areas via methods that have proven volatile in other communities.
The Marijuana Committee considered this provision within the context of the special use chapter being proposed for Title 49. Though the Committee was supportive of the concept, the Committee believed it would be better included in a different section of code. | |
